Job Summary
Receive, store, and issue raw materials, parts, details, and hardware to support shop operations. Organize and store items in bins, drawers, and racks while clearly identifying locations. Perform picking and kitting functions to assemble required kits, ensuring all items are available and accounted for. Inspect incoming materials for conformance to paperwork and verify condition, part numbers, quantities, and revisions. Issue materials per approved documentation, applying verification and traceability markings to serialized parts. Monitor shelf-life items and maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO). Conduct cycle counts and maintain housekeeping standards in the work area. This role supports the Starlink factory, specifically expanding the inventory operation for Starlink satellites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of inventory control experience
- Must be available for the following shifts: 3rd Shift: Monday to Friday (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and a rotating Saturday
- Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Must be willing to work in an open-aired environment, lacking temperature controls
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee (or eligible to obtain required authorizations)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse
- Experience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes
- Experience operate a forklift and other related inventory equipment
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields
- ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management
