Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Perform cycle counts, manage shipping and receiving processes, and update inventory data using management systems. Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips, process damaged or incorrect inventory, and maintain batch records and shipment documentation. Operate forklifts, sky tracks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and inspecting equipment. Assist with down-stacking, re-palletizing boxes by hand, and wrapping pallets manually or with machines. Communicate task completion and discrepancies to team members and leadership. This fully on-site role supports inventory operations at the Rockdale, TX facility, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols and PPE in a mining or data center environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to accurately cycle count inventory and resolve discrepancies
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate computer software or willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications to generate reports and findings
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or sky tracks, or willingness to learn
- Strong mathematical, analytical, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated team player with strong independent decision-making abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (50 pounds)
- Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.)
- Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures
- Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Proactively identify, report, and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training
- Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving duties preferred
- 1–3 years of warehousing, inventory control, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
- 1–3 years of material handling or equipment operation experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with productivity and communication tools is desirable
