Job Summary
Inventory Specialist maintains an adequate level of supplies in all areas serviced by Supply Chain Operations, including stocking/restocking, picking, staging orders, delivering supplies, par level maintenance, code cart and respiratory box maintenance. Works in a medium to heavy demand environment moving equipment and supplies. Requires a High School Diploma and six months of related healthcare experience; familiarity with materials management systems is a plus. Strong emphasis on patient-centered care, collaboration, effective communication, and delivering outstanding customer experience within a healthcare setting. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Six months experience in a related position preferably in a Healthcare environment managing multiple types of supplies
- Experience working with Materials Management system is a plus
- Detailed Oriented
- Capable of learning various areas of the Hospital and various types of supplies
- Communicate effectively with team/stakeholders-both written and verbal
- Consistently delivers an extraordinary customer experience when interacting with peers, end-users, and others
