Job Summary
Manage and maintain inventory levels of salon products, equipment, tools, and supplies while monitoring stock to anticipate replenishment needs. Place orders with approved suppliers within budgetary constraints, receive incoming shipments, and verify accuracy with proper documentation. Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with recorded quantities and organize storage areas to maximize space utilization. Collaborate with faculty and student salon staff to assess needs and coordinate timely product availability for service provision. Maintain accurate inventory records, generate reports, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Requires high school diploma, inventory management experience, and proficiency in inventory software.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a salon, spa, or retail environment
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and suppliers
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory calculations and data analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina to lift and move salon products and supplies as needed
