Inventory Specialist-Mid Level

Inventory Specialist at Tekpro Support Services (TSS) located at Redstone Arsenal is responsible for managing, reporting and self-assessing Government Property from receipt to final disposition, maintaining records, and issuing Government-owned property. The role supports the Government’s annual audit of the Government property management system and requires a current Top Secret Security Clearance. Responsibilities include maintaining control of government property in systems, ensuring compliant accounting and care of property from acquisition to disposition, monitoring asset locations, preparing reports for lost/damaged/surplus or destruction of Government Property, monitoring property transfers per FBI policy, submitting service requests to manage transfers, inputting purchases of accountable property into FBI systems, analyzing data on accountable property, and presenting findings to management, along with answering inquiries and performing tasks as directed by superiors. Qualifications include 3+ years of related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong oral and written communication, attention to detail, reliability, and a current Top Secret Security Clearance.
