Job Summary
Inventory Specialist responsible for cataloging incoming and outgoing equipment, inspecting and photographing condition, verifying shipping/receiving data, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Tasks include data entry for push/pull inventory, forecasting inventory needs, coordinating with delivery personnel, and liaising with General Contractors and MEP contractors regarding OFCI equipment. Requires MS Office proficiency, ability to operate forklift, strong communication, and the ability to travel to local warehouse locations. Includes maintaining equipment inventory using company software and supporting documents; ensuring up-to-date records and accurate inventory levels.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience with inventory, warehousing, or logistics preferred
- Intermediate to advanced computer use with a Windows-based system; knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiar with equipment used in industrial applications and operating conditions
- Ability to develop good relations with staff, customers, and vendors; resolve conflicts independently
- Good command of English; legible records in English
- Valid driver's license; insurable
- Willingness to travel to local warehouse locations
