Inventory Specialist

Job Summary

Oversee inventory transactions including receipts, adjustments, and movements while conducting regular physical counts and cycle counts in a clean warehouse. Coordinate storage to prevent damage, analyze data for discrepancies, and reconcile differences with SKU changes upon completion. Operate warehouse equipment like cherry pickers and forklifts to perform daily duties, verify lot information, and generate performance reports. Participate in physical inventories that may occur after scheduled hours, weekends, or during peak season in November and December, with overtime required as business needs dictate.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a higher-level inventory control position
  • Ability to work legally in the United States
  • Must be willing to submit a background check
  • Have a proactive and self-motivated work style
  • Enjoy working independently with strong attention to detail
  • Participate in physical inventories
  • Inventories may take place after scheduled hours including weekends
  • You will be required to work overtime as business needs require, especially during our peak season in November and December

Desired Qualifications

  • Forklift or warehouse equipment certification
  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
  • Strong typing skills with a focus on data accuracy and attention to detail while entering data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel)
