Job Summary
Senior Glassware Specialist (Contract, 12 months, on-site in Tarrytown, NY) to lead glassware processing and laboratory support within a centralized glassware service. Responsibilities include SOP development/adherence, mentoring/training, continuous process improvement, transport and handling of glassware and plastic ware, autoclave operation, glassware washers, dry heat sterilizers, and ultrasonic baths; perform inspections for cleanliness and defects; maintain GDP documentation; monitor inventory; ensure safety and regulatory compliance; collaborate with lab support teams and cross-train for backup coverage. Requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and ability to work independently within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline OR Associate’s degree in a scientific discipline with 2 or more years of relevant laboratory or operational experience OR High School diploma or equivalent with 5 or more years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or related operational environment
