Job Summary
Inventory Specialist responsible for overseeing inventory management for clinical department deployments, including stocking medical products, linens, and equipment; manages par levels, bin organization, and location maintenance; acts as liaison between Supply Chain and clinical units; orders and delivers supplies using hospital systems; communicates supply levels and implementation details; ensures compliance with policies and standard operating procedures; supports Par Location Management, PIRS Replenishment, and Kanban visuals; utilizes SCIS for distribution, receiving, and reporting; emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication; role involves daily monitoring of stock levels and issue resolution within a healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Six Months of related Materials Management experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and speak English clearly
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Experience using basic word processing, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and scheduling applications
- Experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability
- Demonstrated ability to visually inspect boxes, packing slips, computed reports, and like objects
- Demonstrated ability to use a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment (e.g., hand truck, carts)
- Experience in a role working with healthcare supplies
