Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain inventory on commodity items, finished goods, and project-specific gear by conducting daily, weekly, and monthly audits to ensure quantities are current for the procurement process. Manage the inventory system, facilitate database upgrades, and assess reports to identify items needing automatic delivery. Pull and pack products based on daily orders, keeping stock organized and rotating items effectively. Operate material handling equipment like forklifts and telehandlers while maintaining a clean, sanitary work area compliant with OSHA standards and 5S principles. Perform spot and partial physical audits, maintain accurate records of goods received and shipments, and assist in identifying process improvements. Work Monday through Friday between 6 am to 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am, with potential rotation to nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of experience in a related area
- Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Logistics experience
- 0-10% travel
- Availability for work between 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, telehandlers, hand trucks etc)
- Ability to maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area
- Ability to maintain compliance with all OSHA and Company safety requirements
- Ability to ensure proper safety procedures are followed at all times
- Ability to actively maintain 5S principles throughout work area
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
