Job Summary
Inventory Specialist responsible for managing material flow, maintaining inventory records in SAP, reconciling physical stock with system data, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Duties include receiving materials and verifying SAP records, executing goods receipts and transfers, auditing inventory levels, coordinating material movements and shipments, preparing outgoing materials with accurate documentation, communicating with receiving/shipping teams across warehouse locations, tracking non-conforming material in offline systems, collaborating with teams on disposition, assisting with SAP data entry, and providing general administrative support. Requires strong inventory management knowledge, SAP experience, Excel/Outlook proficiency, high attention to detail, good organizational skills, and effective cross-functional communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred
- Experience with SAP in a logistics or inventory environment strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
- Strong attention to detail with organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to perform inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Effective communication for cross-functional coordination
- Basic knowledge of administrative procedures, reporting, and documentation practices
