Job Summary
Inventory Specialist responsible for receiving, distributing, and scanning inventory; unload shipments from freight carriers, receive product into the system, and scan inventories with handheld barcode scanners using SnapTracker; prepare products for delivery, inspect for freight damage, reconcile packing lists and receiving tickets, and maintain organized storage. Duties include un-cartoning, labeling with purchase order numbers, recording location details, and ensuring accurate documentation; operate forklifts and loaders as needed, maintain a clean and safe work area, and perform occasional additional duties to support warehouse objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Good written and verbal communications
- Customer service oriented
- Detail oriented
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and clearly
- Ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to load and pack delivery trucks
- Ability to operate lift trucks and forklifts
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proficient with technology and software
- Ability to work at elevated heights as required
- Furniture product knowledge (preferred)
