Job Summary
Inventory Specialist supporting Warehouse Manager with material handling, inventory optimization, and refinery operations. Responsibilities include overseeing receiving, storage, and distribution; supervising warehouse clerks; coordinating logistics to refinery units; maintaining inventory records using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Maximo, Acumatica); conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories; reconciling discrepancies; monitoring stock levels and reorder points; analyzing inventory data for trends and inefficiencies; supporting turnaround and capital projects with inventory planning and control; ensuring compliance with refinery safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies; preparing inventory reports and metrics; assisting in audits and inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred, or 3+ years of experience in warehouse and inventory roles, preferably in a refinery or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Maximo and Acumatica) and Microsoft Excel.
- Forklift certification and familiarity with PPE and safety procedures.
- Organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines to fulfill the demands of field staff, contractors, and all customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
