Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within the Inventory Management System by performing daily stock counts and ensuring product balances are correct. Maintain accurate inventory through proper ordering and receiving, while reviewing and completing all pending inventory transactions daily. Communicate with the store director on inventory levels, research shortages, and correct unacceptable shelf conditions to ensure product levels are maintained and replenished. Greet customers consistent with "Jump Over the Counter Service Excellence," answering questions and responding to complaints while ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary working environment. Comply with all company policies, take precautionary safety measures with equipment, and assist with period and bi-annual inventory service counts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to use knives/box cutters
- Ability to operate a pallet jack/bailer
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible
- Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor
- Ability to comprehend and interpret information
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes
- Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity
- Ability to use hands for reaching, touching or handling
- Ability to bend, kneel or squat
- Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception or the ability to focus

- Frequently exposed to extreme cold conditions (non-weather)

- Work is generally performed in a retail store
- Frequently required to talk and hear
- Frequently required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 55 lbs
- High school Diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
