Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within the Inventory Management System by performing daily stock counts to ensure product balance accuracy. Maintain inventory through proper ordering and receiving, while reviewing and completing all pending transactions daily. Communicate with the store director regarding inventory levels, researching shortages and correcting unacceptable shelf conditions. Ensure product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves, and keep the working and shopping environment clean, safe, and sanitary. Greet customers, answer questions, and respond to complaints consistent with the Core Value of "Jump Over the Counter Service Excellence." Assist with period and bi-annual inventory service counts and adhere to all company safety procedures and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to comprehend and interpret information
- Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes
- Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity
- Ability to use knives/box cutters
- Ability to operate a pallet jack/bailer
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible
- Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor
- High school Diploma or GED
