Job Summary
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/MRP systems for raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods while investigating root causes of variances and implementing corrective actions. Analyze inventory data to identify trends and inefficiencies, monitor stock levels to communicate shortages or excesses, and perform regular physical counts to reconcile discrepancies. Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical components and hardware, prepare performance reports, and suggest improvements to control procedures. Adhere to safety, quality, and industry regulations while supporting 5S lean initiatives and warehouse organization. This role operates primarily in a warehouse and manufacturing environment requiring regular presence on the production floor, with a wage range of $20-$22.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or related fields
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle materials and products
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Ability to work around moving equipment, noise, and varying temperatures
- Adherence to all safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Schedule flexibility, including to support operational and customer needs
