Job Summary
Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders for accuracy and quality. Record material receipts accurately into inventory systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP and MyCentre. Perform inventory adjustments, maintain accuracy through regular cycle counts, and prepare monthly reports. Utilize FIFO principles for inventory movements and storage, while maintaining well-organized, clearly labeled areas. Assemble and issue kitted materials to production based on current schedules, fulfilling requisitions and KanBan requests. Coordinate outgoing shipments, prepare documentation, and verify finished goods against shipping orders. Monitor QEMS compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Quality, Accounting, and Production.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in inventory processing
- Medium–high proficiency with ERP systems (we use Microsoft Dynamics GP)
- Strong experience with receiving, inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and FIFO practices
- Good knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and coordinating outbound shipments
- Experience with material kitting, requisitions, and supporting production workflows
- The ability to lift up to 60lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with QEMS and ISO standards (9001/14001) is an asset
