Inventory Receiving Associate

Job Summary
As an Inventory Receiving Associate at United Food Bank, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, recording, and reporting of inbound products in day-to-day operations. You will inspect and weigh inbound products, label and store items appropriately, conduct temperature checks on refrigerated and frozen items, input receiving data into the Ceres ERP system, prepare receipt records for internal audits, and relay information to the Put-Away team. You will assist with unloading, scaling, and order-filling as needed, collaborate with inventory teammates to prioritize workload, and maintain area housekeeping and records. The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a minimum of 1 year of warehouse and data input experience, and Microsoft Office proficiency; forklift/pallet jack certification is a plus or obtainable. Strong verbal communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to work as part of a team onsite from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm are essential. Candidates should be prepared to obtain Arizona Food Handler's Card and Serve Safe Certification if not already held.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse and data input experience
- Pallet jack or forklift certification, a plus (or ability to complete successful certification training)
- Understanding of Microsoft Office software and basic writing skills in a working environment
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work onsite daily 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Arizona Food Handler's Card and Serve Safe Certification (to be acquired)
