Job Summary
Scan items upon receiving, assign storage locations via system, and transport goods to designated bins using cherry-pickers or stand-up forklifts. Ensure items are placed in correct locations for efficient retrieval and maintain organization and cleanliness in the storage area. Follow safety protocols, meet daily productivity and accuracy goals, and resolve minor inventory discrepancies to optimize bin locations. Work under supervision or independently, depending on level, while adhering to safe lifting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- 0-1 year of experience in warehouse operations, stocking, or inventory control
- 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or putaway processes
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse logistics, inventory control, or putaway management
- Prior experience using scan guns and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Familiarity with operating different types of warehouse equipment (e.g., cherry pickers, forklifts)
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse setting
- Extensive experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology
- Strong problem-solving skills for handling complex inventory discrepancies
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of the job function while using safe lifting requirements
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
