Inventory Planning Specialist

Job Summary
Create and execute buy plans for corrective materials while analyzing reorder points to optimize inventory levels across the fleet. Issue purchase orders, monitor delivery confirmations, and coordinate with internal customers to ensure maximized delivery performance for preventative materials to remote wind parks. Work closely with suppliers and wind parks to eliminate inventory shortages, expediting orders as needed and resolving invoice-related issues. Maintain PO delivery dates, ensure high-level data accuracy in the ERP system, and assist Regional Distribution Centers on resolving shipping errors and processing returns. Participate in cost savings initiatives, document best practices, and support internal audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory planning or purchasing
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated high performance working in cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to travel (15%)
Desired Qualifications
- APICS certification
- Experience with wind plant construction, operations, and maintenance
