Inventory Planning Analyst

Job Summary
Oversees the inventory planning activities for the Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Responsible for developing and maintaining the inventory plan and storage capacity requirements to meet strategic objectives. Manages a multi-echelon distribution network across North America, standardizes DRP parameters, ensures ERP data integrity for inventory management and DRP execution, and leads replenishment through DRP to support the demand plan and customer service levels. Trains and develops replenishment analysts, forecasts capacity requirements, analyzes constraints, defines inventory parameters (ABC, safety stock, reorder points), and reports KPIs (Fill Rate, OTIF, SLOB, inventory turns/velocity/frequency/days of supply/in stock rate/backorder rate). Designs optimal inventory mix by site to support the demand plan, supports planning-system enhancements, and applies change-management methods to drive organizational change.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field
- 5+ years of supply chain and inventory management experience
- Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to develop concepts with actionable plan
- Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI
- Proficient with MRP experience required
- ASCM/APICS certification is preferred
- Experience with ERP Systems, with SAP S/4HANA preferred
- Able to travel to sites as needed (up to 25% travel)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
