Job Summary
Inventory Planner manages the entire product life cycle for the Tabletop category, including pre-season planning, open-to-buy forecasting, and inventory management. Responsible for forecasting and replenishment by SKU to optimize inventory flow, drive margin, and support top-line sales. Partners with Merchants, Allocation, Ecommerce, and Distribution to identify opportunities and maintain inventory targets, using forecasting software to project future needs and communicate actions. Role requires cross-functional collaboration, ownership mentality, and the ability to analyze business trends to influence purchases and assortment strategies. This position is onsite in San Francisco, Monday through Thursday, with a remote option on Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years planning and distribution experience
- Computer skills -- Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, MS Access
- Strong business acumen, financial analysis, and technical skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to prioritize and schedule work in a deadline driven environment.
- Superior written, communication, presentation, and listening skills
