Job Summary
Partner with Merchants to create pre-season, item-level sales plans aligned with product rankings and financial goals. Manage monthly open-to-buy forecasts, inventory levels, and turn targets while utilizing planning software to forecast sales and manage replenishment by SKU. Collaborate with the Inventory Distribution and E-commerce teams to develop allocation strategies and identify potential inventory liabilities. Determine markdown and end-of-life disposition strategies for non-go forward products and partner with the Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure accurate purchase order execution. Act as the department owner by analyzing daily business trends, communicating actions to drive top line growth, and influencing assortment strategies. Work onsite in the Brooklyn office Monday through Thursday with a remote option on Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in inventory management in retail
- Strong business acumen, financial analysis, and technical skills
- Experience with open-to-buy forecasting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Superior written, communication, presentation, and listening skills
- Must be able to work onsite in Brooklyn office Monday through Thursday
