Job Summary
Inventory Planner position responsible for developing category and SKU level inventory forecasts, analyzing historical demand, maintaining target and safety stock, and ensuring timely purchase orders and delivery. Collaborates with Operations and Inventory Control to maintain inventory accuracy, identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, and support the Supply Chain Manager with planning priorities. Utilizes ERP and reporting tools to generate weekly supply chain reports and drive margin/cost recovery improvements via data-driven actions.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Logistics, Inventory Planning or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in inventory management and demand planning
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access is a plus
- Strong quantitative analytical skills with understanding of math and inventory concepts
- Ability to summarize data and communicate information clearly to contacts
