INVENTORY OPTIMIZATION DIRECTOR

Job Summary
Develop and execute the overall inventory optimization strategy across finished goods, raw materials, WIP, and spare parts. Design and implement inventory models including Safety Stock, EOQ, Reorder Point, ABC/XYZ, and Demand Forecasting. Partner with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance to align inventory with business objectives. Monitor key KPIs such as Inventory Turnover, Days of Supply, Service Level, and obsolete inventory. Lead inventory reduction and de-obsolescence initiatives while leveraging data, analytics, and systems to enhance visibility. Build and develop a high-performing inventory and planning team. This strategic leadership role offers direct influence on business performance and financial outcomes within a fast-growing, complex, international organization.
Required Qualifications
- At least 15 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, or Inventory Management
- 5 - 8 years at senior management / director level
- Strong expertise in inventory optimization, demand planning, and S&OP/IBP
- Solid business and financial acumen
- Clear understanding of P&L and cash flow impact
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Strong leadership skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Cross-functional influencing skills
- Fluent in English
