Job Summary
Oversee the complete life cycle of physical inventory flow from initial receipt to final picking, ensuring maximum efficiency and accuracy. Direct the unloading of incoming trucks, manage accurate labeling and storage of palletized goods, and implement the proprietary inventory management system. Enforce 5S principles for warehouse organization, lead daily picking and Pull Wave processes, and conduct regular scans and audits to maintain control. Coordinate closely with Listing Operations and Order Fulfillment teams to optimize workflow and ensure seamless goods flow. Provide training to team members, ensure safe equipment operation, and report on performance metrics to the General Manager. Maintain tight control over warehouse hygiene to minimize lost items while adhering to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics environment
- Demonstrated experience managing workflow, inventory, and operational processes
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
- Forklift certification
- Fluent with technology and able to use various computer and phone programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead frequently
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a goal-driven environment
- Position requires seeing, hearing, use of hands and fingers, sitting, standing, walking, reaching, twisting, turning, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping in the performance of daily activities
- Must be able to communicate with others including talking, hearing, and listening and exchanging communication
