Job Summary
Inventory Officer - Repairs at Jetstar based in Melbourne (Docklands and/or Tullamarine). Responsible for coordinating and managing component repair activities, cost-effective purchasing/repairs, and delivery of goods and services for the Engineering Department. Key duties include managing purchasing and repair orders for aircraft spares, loans, and exchanges; raising, monitoring, and expediting repair orders; reviewing vendor quotes and invoices; optimizing inventory levels using MIN/MAX principles; sourcing correct parts from OEM data to support compliant repairs; resolving complex parts issues and planning conflicts; collaborating with logistics, planning, technical services, finance, and suppliers; building and maintaining supplier relationships and monitoring performance. Requires experience in aviation purchasing or component control, ability to handle high volumes with attention to detail, ownership mindset, Excel proficiency, and willingness to learn systems such as TRAX. Required Qualifications
- Experience in purchasing, component control, or supply chain (aviation preferred)

- Strong ownership for ports, vendors, and tasks
- Proficiency with Excel (moderate level) and willingness to learn TRAX
