Job Summary
Manage day-to-day inventory operations in the Photon Counting business unit, including stock monitoring, cycle counts, and processing goods movements in SAP. Optimize material flows and stock levels within physical storage locations while coordinating closely with purchasing, order management, production, finance, and R&D teams. Track inventory levels and oversee receiving and shipping activities to ensure operational efficiency. This role supports the broader mission of Varex Imaging to make the invisible visible through innovative X-ray imaging component solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar position in material management
- Hands on attitude and self driven
- Very good knowledge of SAP, specifically MM
- Microsoft office, excellent skills with Excel
- Effective communication skills
- Fluent in Finnish and English
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- 5 years of related experience
- One year of management experience or supervisory equivalent
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software
Desired Qualifications
- Previous team lead experience is considered an advantage
- Ideally B.Sc. in Logistics, Material management or Business administration
