Job Summary
On-site Inventory Manager responsible for the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring job site efficiency and minimizing project delays. They maintain accurate digital records, manage vendor relationships, and reconcile inventory levels to prevent budget overruns. Key duties include tracking, organizing, and ensuring safety compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels with computerized systems, coordinating with suppliers to negotiate, purchase, and receive materials, preparing, loading, and delivering materials to field employees, maintaining secure warehouse space with tool servicing and tagging, performing regular audits, preparing orders for delivery to the field including loading and unloading trucks.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, warehouse management, or logistics is essential.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail to manage diverse, complex inventory items.
- Ability to liaise between field crews and suppliers
