Job Summary
Manage inventory replenishment based on production schedules, current stock, customer orders, and forecasts. Ensure accurate and current inventory records by conducting daily analysis to solve inventory problems. Develop and implement inventory control procedures while coordinating and managing daily physical cycle counts. Directly supervise the inventory control team, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving complaints.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- PC literate
- Proficient with Microsoft Word
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to write routine reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
