Job Summary
Inventory Management Team Member responsible for cycle counts and picking aisles to support BD's inventory objectives; research and resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy; maintain and verify item/lot/quantity counts and ensure proper paperwork for inventory flow; participate in receipt audits/reconciliations and support cross-training for coverage during absences; operate MHE and RF/Voice scanners in a fast-paced distribution environment; maintain documentation per quality procedures and contribute to team initiatives on-site at the Covington Global Distribution Center.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, preferred
- 1+ years of relevant experience, required
- Experience with MHE (Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Material Handling, etc.), preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain equipment certification requirements, required
- Ability to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
- Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
- General distribution knowledge
- Ability to use a PC, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong initiative and drive for results
