Job Summary
Inventory Management Specialist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, performing replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing using handheld RF scanners and the mobile app; receive and inspect shipments, maintain up-to-date inventory records, and communicate with customers via email and phone; collaborate with supervisors and teammates to streamline daily workflows; uphold safety and PPE standards; monitor stock levels and flag gaps to prevent operational impacts; may perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor; requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience; proficient with RF scanners and basic Microsoft Office tools; strong written and verbal English communication.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience
- Proficient using RF handheld scanners or mobile scanning apps
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and wear PPE (lab coats, coveralls, masks, etc.)
- Must successfully complete Thermo Fisher’s pre-employment screening (background check and drug test) and any customer-mandated screening or badging requirements
