Job Summary
Use handheld RF scanners and mobile apps to perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing. Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store items, and maintain cycle counts to guarantee up-to-date inventory records. Own customer interactions by responding via email, following up by phone, and assisting internal partners to resolve questions. Collaborate with supervisors to propose workflow improvements and uphold safety standards by wearing required PPE while monitoring stock levels. Work the first shift in West Point, PA, handling hazardous materials and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–1 year of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience
- Confident using RF handheld scanners or mobile scanning apps
- basic Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- friendly, solution-focused approach
- A self-starter who thrives with detail, accountability, and teamwork
- Will work with hazardous/toxic materials
- Personal protective equipment, such as lab coats, coveralls, facemasks, and steel-toe shoes, is often required
- regular lifting of 30-40 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts to move up to 100 lbs
- Standing, walking, and manual material handling are frequent activities
