Job Summary
Manage item requirements, evaluate program efficiency, and validate repair requirements to optimize global asset distribution for Air Force weapons systems. Procure items, maintain documentation, and analyze data to determine optimal demand planning methods while resolving complex inventory problems. Prepare reports for management, assist Government personnel, and ensure compliance with policies using relevant data systems. This role supports the 638th Supply Chain Management Group at Robins AFB, GA, requiring active Secret clearance and eight years of experience in Air Force supply chain management.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Active Secret clearance
- Eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC) and installation access at Robins AFB
- Exceptional understanding of Air Force weapon systems logistics
- Supply plans and sourcing strategies to keep Air Force weapon systems operational
- Tracking of structural parts, armament, instruments, and engines
- Management of inventory so parts get to the flightline and repair depots faster
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- At least eight (8) years of experience in Air Force supply chain management performing tasks associated with the supply planner/inventory management functional area
- Ability to perform desk work for extended periods, including sitting and using a computer
- Sufficient vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to perform related tasks
- On-site five days per week (40 hours per week) at Robins AFB, GA
- Duty hours including core hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern
- Flexible start/end times available between 6:00–9:00 AM and 3:00–6:00 PM
- Some travel subject to advance Government approval
- Site visits to operational, production, and warehouse sites
- Ability to encounter extreme temperatures, airborne particles, fumes, chemicals, or loud noises
- Residing in the Warner Robins, GA area or willing to relocate
