Job Summary
Inventory Management Hardware Analyst to support IT Asset Management (ITAM) for a DoD contract. Responsibilities include asset accountability, data accuracy, asset tracking, lifecycle visibility, supporting annual NCR inventories (virtual and physical), resolving discrepancies, preparing final reports for program officials, maintaining lifecycle records in an Enterprise ITSM system (e.g., BMC Helix/Remedy), ensuring compliance, processing Lost/Damaged/Destroyed asset tickets, and generating weekly/monthly status reports while identifying process improvements. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, ability to manage government-owned IT assets across multiple locations, strong written/oral communication, ITSM/ITIL experience, and DoD Secret clearance. Optional qualifications include ITSM tools (BMC Helix/Remedy, ServiceNow), knowledge of Air Force/AFNCR operations, and travel within the NCR.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with accountability of a large quantity of IT hardware asset portfolio across multiple geographic locations
- Ability to influence and develop relationships with stakeholders
- Experience with ITSM applications in an enterprise IT environment
- Experience with ITIL-based enterprise IT environment
- Current DoD Secret security clearance or higher
