Job Summary
Receive incoming shipments, match orders to received products, and move materials to inventory control areas using carts, hand trucks, and forklifts. Pack products for domestic and international export, document all transactions, and maintain accurate inventory counts through weekly cycle procedures. Examine invoices and bills of lading to ensure regulatory compliance for exported materials, while communicating transaction irregularities to management. Resolve count variances, optimize warehouse layouts, and perform miscellaneous stocking and kit-picking tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Forklift Certified
- IATA (Hazmat) Certified
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of International Shipping Regulations
- Hazmat and Lithium-Ion battery shipping and packaging experience
- Detail Oriented
- Self-Directed
- Experience with shipping platforms, such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or other inventory management systems
- Proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Excel and other data management system
- Positive attitude
- Solution oriented
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed
