Job Summary
Develop and implement a structured cycle count schedule to ensure all products are regularly counted. Monitor and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to guarantee accuracy and compliance. Investigate inventory discrepancies by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions while ensuring all adjustments are properly documented. Lead and supervise a team of cycle count clerks, providing coaching and setting performance goals. Collaborate with procurement, shipping, and receiving teams to improve inventory control processes and minimize operational disruptions. Generate reports on inventory metrics and trends for senior management. Assist in preparing for annual physical inventory audits and ensure all activities meet internal audit and external regulatory requirements. This role supports Town & Country Living's global home décor and supply chain operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse inventory management or cycle counting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and receiving processes
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Excel – Intermediate/Advanced
- Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft SharePoint
- This position typically works in a warehouse environment, exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels
- This position may require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
- Work is typically performed in a warehouse or stockroom environment
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items as required
- Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs
- Able to operate forklift equipment
- This position may require occasional late evenings or weekend work based on business needs
