Job Summary
Investigate and distribute material shortages for the Inventory Department by performing expediting, transaction verification, and running critical material reports. Locate materials from databases, follow up on past due items, and prepare daily reports on delays affecting work orders. Receiving, unpacking, and delivering goods while re-stocking shelves and maintaining accurate records. Lead, guide, and train student employees and interns as needed. Comply with Daifuku's QMS policies to ensure sustainable process outputs and continuous improvement in material handling solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and programs
- Detail-oriented, organized and thorough
- Ability to multi-task and provide team support
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
- Good interpersonal skills for working with various departments
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
- Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees
- Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine
- Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another
- Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position
- Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm
- Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles
- Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures
