Inventory Cycle Counter - (Powered Equipment)

Job Summary
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies through root cause analysis. Manage material requirements schedules, compile records for received and shipped items, and monitor transactions within warehouse management systems. Expedite material flow between departments, assist in identifying shortages, and support physical inventory audits while collaborating with Operations, Procurement, and Engineering teams. Operate powered equipment including order selectors and reach trucks for stocking and replenishments. Work the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm in Emerson's distribution center in Olive Branch, MS.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating stand-up forklifts reach truck and or order selector trucks
- Forklift certified or previously certified; willing to obtain onsite certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve issues effectively
- Strong cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform regular inventory counts, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving materials as needed
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, push and pull for shift all product/carton weighing up to 50 lbs
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse operations, or materials management
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, or similar inventory management platforms
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional attendance and dependability
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and operational excellence
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding that inventory accuracy is critical to customer satisfaction and business success
