Job Summary
Counts merchandise in Meijer stores, scans UPCs, and enters counts on a handheld device to produce accurate inventory tallies; works independently with a focus on accuracy and efficiency; interacts with store team members and customers to deliver service; participates in other audits as needed; requires strong math/bookkeeping ability, discretion with confidential information, and physical ability to stand/walk most of the shift with occasional lifting.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of general business math and bookkeeping
- Six months to one year of job training and experience
- Physical ability required for standing and walking at least 95% of the time
- Physical ability to frequently lift and/or move objects between 10 and 50 lbs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
