Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and verify quantity and quality of incoming materials and supplies. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions, conducting regular physical counts to reconcile discrepancies. Update inventory levels in the material management program and analyze data to forecast future needs, preventing overstocking or stockouts. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials while safely transporting items using a forklift, heavy equipment, or vehicle. Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager and other departments to improve efficiency and address workflow issues. Work primarily on construction sites and HQ, visiting vendors and locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of experience in inventory control
- Proficient in computer use, including inventory management software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction materials, particularly those used in underground utility, sitework, and earthwork projects
- Working knowledge of inventory management software
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to travel to visit vendors or different company locations
