Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary
Manage inventory for consumables, chemicals, and samples by processing requests, conducting cycle counts, and performing yearly physical inventories to ensure accurate stock levels. Coordinate purchasing functions including back-order reporting, order entry, expediting, and resolving pricing issues while handling hazardous material shipping documentation and equipment inspections. Track inventory movement on and off-site, capture data trends for sample metrics updates, and document quality events to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm in Saint Louis, MO, reporting to the supervisor of site services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of applicable experience in customer services/purchasing/or account management
- 1+ years of face-to-face customer service experience
- Knowledge of intermediate digital literacy including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
- Solid understanding and experience in either shipping, inventory, or purchasing
- Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- A strong work ethic and initiative
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor's degree
- Microsoft Teams experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment
- Excellent Customer Service Skills: displays a professional can-do demeanor
- High regard for safety, quality, and adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures
