Job Summary
Inventory Coordinator responsible for the overall integrity and maintenance of a store's inventory. Duties include receiving POs from Ace and non‐Ace vendors, reporting inventory discrepancies (over/short, damages), coordinating with the freight captain for proper receiving and replenishment, researching outs using mobile scanning, performing daily cycle counts to maintain accuracy, following defective merchandise procedures for credits, maintaining on‐hand integrity, overseeing price changes and location codes, managing inventory levels and adjustments, coordinating periodic full store inventories, and training other store associates. The role emphasizes applying core values and collaborating with Store Support Center and management to resolve inventory concerns. Expect 20–30 hours per week, varying by store location.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work independently and on a team to complete multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to research and find root cause of inventory discrepancies
- Retail store experience preferred
