Inventory Controls & Logistics Manager

Job Summary
Receive inbound shipments, inspecting and reconciling deliveries against purchase orders in Silkline, then log parts into ION inventory through cycle counts and audits. Develop inventory management processes for the R&D environment while organizing the stockroom, labeling bins, and staging materials for engineering builds. Coordinate outbound logistics, arranging freight and parcel shipments to job sites and supporting international export operations for overseas projects. Partner with procurement to track orders and flag shortages, ensuring the build team never waits on materials. Work 5 days/week from San Leandro HQ with a focus on maintaining accurate records and applying 5S organization to the shop.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of relevant experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail in managing inventory records and physical stock
- Comfortable working on your feet in a warehouse environment and moving/handling parts and equipment and lift up to 40 lbs
- Experience using inventory, ERP, or procurement software (and are comfortable in spreadsheets)
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and enjoy working on a team
- Based in or can relocate to the SF Bay Area, and able to work 5 days/week from our San Leandro HQ
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts and/or telehandlers (certification a plus)
- Handled outbound freight, shipping/receiving operations, or export/international logistics
- Worked in a manufacturing, hardware, or robotics environment
- Worked at a fast-paced startup before, and enjoyed it
- Supply chain or purchasing coordination experience
