Job Summary
Inventory Controller on a 6-month contract based in Yennora, NSW, Australia. Responsible for maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy and stock integrity across Logistics, including managing cycle counts, stocktakes, discrepancy investigations, ERP controls, and collaboration with Operations to prevent variances and support reliable order fulfilment. Key duties include maintaining accurate ERP records (on hand, locations, statuses, batch/expiry traceability), planning and executing cycle counts and periodic stocktakes, investigating shorts/overages/location errors/damages, root-cause analysis and corrective actions, processing inventory transactions in ERP with proper authorization, and producing routine inventory reports. Requires experience with ERP systems, strong attention to detail, ability to investigate discrepancies, and effective communication with cross-functional teams. Knowledgeable about quality and safety standards (HACCP/GMP) and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in an Inventory Controller / Stock Controller / Inventory Analyst role in a warehouse/logistics environment
- Strong ERP capability (inventory transactions, adjustments, reconciliation) and high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes and implement preventative actions
- Confident communicator who can work closely with operational teams and influence adherence to process
- Competent in Microsoft Excel (filters, pivots, lookups/reconciliations)
