Job Summary
The Inventory & Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing material movement and inventory control activities, including overseeing receiving, raw material storage, work-in-process tracking, and finished goods inventory. The role requires ensuring accurate material availability for production, maintaining an organized warehouse, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Leadership and managerial responsibilities include mentoring warehouse staff, setting priorities, enforcing policies, and collaborating with Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Planning, and Quality Assurance.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of warehouse or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing material flow, BOMs, WIP tracking, and inventory control methods.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement process improvements.
Additional Requirements
- Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
