Job Summary
Receive inventory deliveries from suppliers and stage pick-and-kit orders for internal needs. Process stock requests by pulling and delivering items to ordering departments, including special orders. Maintain safety and quality standards while managing efficiency in a fast-paced team environment. Requires 1 year of experience in manufacturing or inventory control, plus certification on powered industrial trucks. Work involves standing and walking 6–8 hours daily with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds in a dusty, warm-to-cool warehouse setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1 Year of experience in a manufacturing and / or inventory control environment.
- Certification on Powered Industrial Trucks/ pallet jacks.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.
- Ability to write reports.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Knowledge of general counting, plus the application of general warehousing and logistics theory.
- Must have a basic understanding of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to stand and walk 6-8 hours each day.
- Must be able to stretch and lift overhead, bending over to work on lower locations.
