Job Summary
Inventory Control Tech II provides intermediate-level support and leadership to the inventory team, bridging daily execution with mentorship by guiding junior staff, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining organized warehouse operations. Key duties include receiving/unloading items, documenting using inventory platforms (e.g., Monday Boards), performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation, relocating inventory, operating material handling equipment (forklifts and pallet jacks), ensuring transaction integrity and compliance with state regulations, training new staff, leading day-to-day warehouse activities, and assisting with on-site supplier deliveries/pickups. The role requires independent work, strong organizational skills, ability to work weekends/holidays as needed, and the ability to drive company vehicles for local deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of inventory experience
- Experience using data entry software (i.e., Excel)
- Forklift operation (certification preferred)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience guiding or leading small teams or training coworkers
