Inventory Control Supervisor (swing shift)

Job Summary
Supervise inventory control team for a large-volume production facility, ensuring daily work aligns with KPIs and internal customer demands. Maintain accurate inventory reports and confirmation structures, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and escalate issues affecting production schedules or customer requirements. Monitor movement and staging of materials and their relationship to the Material Planning System (MPS); identify daily concerns and implement solutions. Role requires hands-on supervision in a manufacturing environment, with potential long days and occasional evenings/weekends, and occasional travel for meetings or training. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience as an Inventory Control Specialist, or similar role
- At least five years of experience in a production environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with all inventory transaction types, lane assignments, bin locations, staging, etc.
- Detail oriented
- Ability to learn and understand the processes / capabilities / limitations of internal planning system (MPS)
- Ability to work in manufacturing environment, including continuous standing, operating various freight moving equipment, lifting, twisting, etc.
- Ability to work as business needs require which may include long days, occasional evenings and weekends, and occasional travel for business meetings or training.
