Job Summary
Lead the warehouse team in receiving shipments, scanning documents, and dispersing materials to appropriate locations while maintaining organized 5S standards. Execute material movements between inventory locations and warehouses, count stock against physical records, and release back orders as inventory becomes available. Compile stock control records, analyze consumption rates, and investigate discrepancies between ERP and WMS systems or invoice proofs. Supervise employees through hiring, training, performance appraisals, and daily task assignments, ensuring adherence to departmental standards. Perform occasional lifts up to 25 pounds and work in a quiet office environment with limited supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
- 3-5 years related experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
